Most consultants tell you what they can do. This page tells you what we won't do, what we'll always do, and why that distinction matters for your business.

01 — CLARITY OVER CLEVERNESS

If we can't explain it, we don't install it.

Every tool we recommend, configure, or connect will be explained in plain terms before anyone uses it. You will know what it does, what it touches, what it costs to run, and how to switch it off. Black boxes are not something we leave behind.

We don't use complexity as a sales tool. If a simpler approach does the job, we'll say so — even if it means a smaller bill.

02 — WE DON'T SKIP THE GATE

Nothing goes live until you're ready for it.

There's a difference between testing an idea and running it in your live operation. We enforce that line. Before anything connects to your real customers, your real data, or your real money, we do a review — data, risk, rollback — and you sign off. Not verbally. In writing.

We've seen what happens when this step gets skipped. It's never the builder who carries the damage.

03 — CAPABILITY, NOT DEPENDENCY

We want you to not need us.

The goal of every engagement is that you finish it stronger than you started. We document everything we build. We train the people who will use it. We make sure someone on your team understands enough to catch it if it starts to drift.

If you call us back six months later, it should be because you want to go further — not because something broke and nobody knows how it works.

04 — HARD LIMITS ON SENSITIVE DATA

Some things need a formal review before we connect them.

Staff data, customer records, financial information, automated communications — these are not things we wire into pipelines casually. If your use case involves sensitive data categories, we say so at the start and scope the review before any work begins.

We're not here to tell you what you can and can't do with your own business. We're here to make sure you've thought it through before something is running at scale.

05 — NO AI FOR AI'S SAKE

We'll tell you when a tool isn't the answer.

Sometimes the best fix is a clearer process, a better template, or a different conversation. We will say so when that's the case — even when it means a smaller engagement or no engagement at all.

We are not resellers with a target subscription number. We are not AI evangelists. We fix specific operational problems and we don't care whether the fix needs a £30 tool or nothing at all.

We are a technology consultancy, not a regulated professional services firm.

Where a project touches regulated areas — legal, financial, healthcare, or data compliance — we will flag it and recommend involving a qualified professional. We give operational advice. We do not give legal, financial, or regulatory advice, and nothing we do should be treated as such.

If we think you need a solicitor or a data protection officer before we proceed, we will tell you — even if it delays the project.
